About Me

Jesus Christ became the Lord of my life as a disillusioned teenager, and his love and the light and truths of the Bible, revived my soul like sunshine flooding a dark cave.
I have spent a lifetime growing in the arbor of my Christian faith, and in ministry with singles, youth (presently Juvenile Hall) and missions.
Raised in beautiful Northern California, I never tire of frequenting our rivers, lakes, coastline and the majestic Sierra Nevadas mountains. It is in creation I find the pastures of God.
My friends and family (including the dogs) are radiant highlights of God's expression of love in my life. Memories of the past: Weekend warrior, overseas travel, group gatherings, missions, hikes, bike rides, dinners, conversation, prayer, nursing encounters have all combined to make me eternally thankful for a full life. I have been given much-I am accountable for much. God has blessed me.
I have followed the journey prepared, always mindful, always seeking for the Ring, as so many of my Ringless friends, other Pilgrims of the Lord. He knows our search, our path, our battles with the desire for the Ring and a lifetime companion for the rest of the journey.
My hope is that soon along the trek, through all the traversing and delays our single travails have borne, through the disappointment and pain of relationships lost, that we each experience the wonder of the Find. That we finally find the one who holds our Ring today, even as we clasp theirs; waiting for the human but divine connection God planted in our hearts since the beginning of time-- a Ring encounter that will endure the tides of life until we wash upon the shores of heaven together and face the Lord of the Ring.
